Don’t Let Tax Problems Get in Your Way

Find Your Tax Resolution

Call Us Today!

The first step in handling any tax issue is determining who will represent you before the IRS or state taxing authorities. The team of attorneys at Sandelands Eyet—led by experienced tax attorney Matthew Eyet—offer a personalized approach that the national “tax resolution” firms cannot match. Instead of dealing with multiple representatives that have unknown credentials, at Sandelands Eyet you will interact directly with Mr. Eyet (in-person, if you prefer) to develop and implement a strategy to resolve whatever your tax issue may be. Best of all, we offer our personalized, premium service at a non-premium price. Give us a call today to see how our local team of tax attorneys can help you.

Tax Collection Matters

We routinely assist our clients with unpaid tax issues by entering into Offers in Compromise and Installment Agreements; achieving Uncollectible Status; obtaining Innocent Spouse or other Equitable relief; Collection Due Process Appeals; Abatement of Penalties and Interest; or even obtaining relief from all taxes due.

Audits & Investigations

It is absolutely critical to engage an experienced professional at the beginning of any audit or investigation to ensure your rights as a taxpayer are both protected and exercised to your maximum advantage. Preferably, the professional you choose should be someone other than the individual who prepared your return(s) under examination to ensure a buffer exists between the taxing authority and taxpayer/tax preparer.

Employment Tax Issues

Worker Classification Examinations; finding of Responsible Person Status; imposition of Trust Fund Penalties; Information Return Penalties; Backup Withholding Issues; Officer Compensation and Fringe Benefit issues and planning.

Tax Litigation

We have extensive experience filing petitions and lawsuits in Tax Court, Federal District Courts and State Courts on a variety of disputed matters.

Voluntary Disclosures

We specialize in mitigating the consequences and penalties of disclosing unreported foreign and domestic income at both the federal and state levels.

Miscellaneous:

State Residency Examinations; Requests for Private Letter Rulings; Opinions of Counsel; Conservation Easement Planning and Disputes
