Mitchell Zipkin is an Associate at Sandelands Eyet LLP with a background in community association, landlord/tenant, and debt collection law. Prior to joining Sandelands Eyet LLP, Mitchell represented community associations, landlords, credit card companies, debt buyers and medical professionals in a wide array of civil litigation matters.
Mitchell’s practice focuses on the representation of financial services providers and mortgage servicers, including the defense of claims brought under RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and various state statutes related to wrongful foreclosure and debt collection. Mitchell also represents traditional purchasers and sellers, as well as investors, in residential real estate transactions.
Mitchell is licensed to practice in state court in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire, and federal court in New Jersey and New Hampshire. He is also licensed to practice in the Eastern and Southern district of New York. Mitchell is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D. 2008) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.A. History & Political Science – 2005).
