Bill Sandelands is Partner at Sandelands Eyet LLP. Bill’s title litigation experience includes working for a title insurance agency prior to and during law school where Bill was a title searcher responsible for searching land records and then title underwriter responsible for reviewing search work and underwriting commitments to insure title. Shortly after graduating law school, Bill began handling title claims and coverage actions for national title insurance carriers and has done so for well over twenty years.
This experience includes matters concerning coverage issues, boundary line disputes, adverse possession, surveying errors, prescriptive easements, land-locked parcels, mis-indexing issues, improper property descriptions, lien priority disputes and fraud claims (i.e. fraudulent conveyances, misappropriation of funds, real estate investment schemes, and multiple transfers or mortgage loans obtained during the gap period).
Bill earned his J.D. from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Bill is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
