Peter A. Swift is an Associate at Sandelands Eyet LLP and works in the firm’s litigation practice group. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining Sandelands Eyet LLP, Peter served as counsel for various insurance carriers and their insureds in both an in-house capacity and in a law firm setting. Specifically, he represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, involving allegations of premises liability, product liability, employment discrimination, insurance coverage, breach of contract, contractual indemnification, and workers’ compensation.
Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Scranton. He also earned his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University of Scranton as well as his Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York Law School. While at law school, Peter served as Articles & Notes Editor for the St. John’s Law Review. After graduating from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Longhi, A.J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Middlesex County. Peter is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
